적의 수급을 몸에 달고 다니다니...

열흘 전부터 개미를 키우고 있습니다. 개미를 잡아 집에 넣으면 그것이 개미들의 먹이도 되고 동시에 개미집도 됩니다. 그런게 있는 줄 이번에 처음 알았습니다.

개미를 잡아 넣을때 한곳에 있는 개미를 넣으면 협동해서 집을 잘 팝니다. 하지만 지역이 각각 다른곳에서 잡으면 안에서 전투가 벌어집니다. 특히 큰 놈이 작은 놈을 맹렬하게 공격합니다. 그러면 작은 녀석들은 한데 모여 큰 녀석들의 공격에 대비를 하기도 합니다.

개미가 열심히 굴 파는 모습을 원한다면 한 곳에 사는 개미를 넣고, 전투를 원하시면 여러군데에서 잡아넣으면 됩니다. 그런데 여러군데에서 잡아도 시간이 지나면 상대를 경계하면서 나름대로 집을 파는 모습을 볼 수 있었습니다.

자, 지금부터 몇일동안 관찰하며 동영상으로 촬영한 개미들의 모습을 살펴보겠습니다. 적의 수급을 매달고 다니는 모습도 볼 수 있습니다. 방학동안 아이들과 함께 관찰해 보셔도 좋을 듯 합니다. 흥미로운 장면이 많이 펼쳐지거든요. 동영상에는 다 담을수 없었지만요 ^^
